Tuscan Celebrations

This book offers a hundred recipes inspired by Tuscan and Italian tradition, revisited to give them a touch of vitality. Tuscan cuisine, traditional and peasant, is based on simple and local ingredients, such as seasonal vegetables and fruits, cereals, olive oil, and local meats. Françoise reinterprets these bases with her own approach, to make dishes that are both healthy and tasty.

Each recipe has been designed to be accessible, quick to make and adaptable to seasonal and local products. Whether you have a garden or not, these recipes will invite you to explore local markets and reinvent these dishes according to your taste. This book is an invitation to cook with pleasure and creativity, inspired by the cuisine of Françoise, who likes each plate, prepared with love, to be a celebration for the one who receives it.

Françoise's cuisine is natural, simple and creative. She uses fresh and seasonal ingredients, often grown in her own garden or from local producers she knows well. The recipes highlight whole grains, legumes, quality meats and poultry, as well as some deep-sea fish and shellfish. Françoise favors preparation techniques that preserve the nutrients in the food, with a significant proportion of raw ingredients and gentle cooking, often below 100°C. The sauces, for their part, are mainly made with extra virgin olive oil, spices and aromatic herbs.
